With seven superb spaces, each with their own unique size, aspect, shape, decor and integrated facilities, there’s every chance one will be the perfect fit for the event, occasion or engagement you’re looking to have have hosted. We also offer the ability to use the outdoor grounds as spaces, should the need be from a larger scale event, display or presentation.

The Meadows Conference & Events Centre can host up to 400 guests or as as little as 6. It’s probably what makes our venue so intriguing to visitors and so valuable. Built and designed with the primary purpose of hosting greyhound race meetings, it was also built to cater for other occasions as a multipurpose events venue. Therefore the spaces available to hire, albeit most having stunning racetrack views (sorry not sorry), are all fitted out with amenities that support use beyond race days and evenings.

As quick overview the Temlee Dining Room (named after the great greyhound Temlee) is our largest space and is ideal for big occasion dinners, balls, graduations and conferences. (It’s the home of our City View Bistro come Saturday Race Nights. A great way to see it in action is to book for dinner on a race night). While its Temlee West and Temlee East name sakes are perfect for more intimate private functions, cocktail events, smaller gathering, meetings and workshops. These rooms can also we added to the Temlee Dining Room to cater for larger numbers if required.

The Midas Room offers the golden touch and appeal for those looking to hold a trade show, stand up event or a training session, while The Deck is the perfect indoor/outdoor space thanks to it’s modern architectural and hip vibe, so true to form with current hospitality events. We can provide a high-tech Board Room for hire and a massive fenced artificial grassed space (The Terrace) if you want to run a kids party or funky outdoor event (think beanbags, umbrellas, giant Jenga, food trucks and picnic rugs in the sun).

Come see the venue and meet the team

We say it to everyone – come see ‘The Meadows’ for yourself. It’s by far the best way to get a feel for our immersive and wonderful events venue. Arranging an appointment to visit is easy, just give us a call or fill in our web form. We’re open Monday to Friday and by special appointment on Saturdays. Another way to get a sneaky peak is to drop in on a Wednesday Race Day or Saturday Race Night - entry is FREE and so is watching the greyhounds. You may even book for dinner in our City View Bistro to get a real taste of what we offer. It’s open to everyone and especially you.
